Knife Amnesty Challenge

Record a knife you've handed in

Already used an amnesty bin? Let us know anonymously so it counts towards your organisation's total.

This is completely anonymous. We don't ask for your name, contact details or location, and nothing you enter can identify you or link you to what you handed in.

Your surrender

A few quick things. That's all we collect.

No account, no email, no tracking. One tap and it's counted.

Where you can hand knives in

Static amnesty bins and Mobile Amnesty Van dates across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent — in case you have more to hand in, or want to pass the details on.

Just the first part of your postcode — the letters and number before the space. That's enough to find what's near you, and it can't identify your address. It's used once for the lookup and never saved.

Enter your postcode area above to see bins and van dates near you.

If you have more to hand in

How to do it safely.

How to wrap it

Wrap the blade fully in thick cardboard or several layers of newspaper and tape it closed so no edge or point is exposed. Place it inside a bag you can seal.

Carrying it there

Take the most direct route and go straight there. Keep the wrapped item out of sight in a bag. Do not remove or unwrap it on the way.

At the bin or van

Place the wrapped item straight into the secured bin, or into the van's surrender bin. You do not need to give any details or explain anything. No one will ask who you are.
